Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dashcore.com (the "site") and any related forms, content, and email subscriptions we operate. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
If you engage Dashcore for paid work — building software, custom operating systems, or any ongoing service — the specific scope, fees, deliverables, and obligations are covered in a separate signed agreement (a Statement of Work or service contract). That signed agreement controls our paid engagement; these Terms cover the public site.
About Dashcore
These terms cover your use of dashcore.com and any conversations you start with us. Paid engagements live in their own signed agreements — these terms apply to the site itself.
Using the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and in a way that doesn't disrupt it for anyone else. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, our servers, or related systems.
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) in a way that interferes with normal operation.
- Upload or submit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content through any form.
- Use the site to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code where not expressly permitted.
Forms and submissions
When you submit a contact form ("Let's talk"), you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We may use what you share to respond to you, follow up, and qualify whether we're a good fit — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Email subscriptions
If you subscribe to our weekly email, you're opting in to receive recurring emails from Dashcore. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Your subscription is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The site — including text, design, code, graphics, logos, and the "Dashcore" name and wordmark — is owned by Dashcore or licensed to us. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reuse our content or branding for commercial purposes without written permission.
Ownership of any work product created under a paid engagement is handled in the signed agreement for that engagement, not here.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites (e.g. social platforms, calendars, payment providers). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it accurate and online, but we make no warranties — express or implied — about availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the site is at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dashcore is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the site. Limits on liability for paid engagements are set out in the signed agreement for that engagement.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold Dashcore harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the site at any time, at our discretion, for any reason — including violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
